Alternative Lifestyle- Pull Yourself Together

In 2008, I was a college student at Chowan University. In one of my business classes I had a project titled Entrepreneur; the assignment was to come up with a business plan that I would work on after graduation. This is where I birth Poetry Girl, LLC! Over the last 14 years, I have helped churches and entrepreneurs build a functional website as well as photography and videography. In undergrad, I struggled with depression because I felt like I didn’t belong because of my disabilities. For those that don’t know, I am partially deaf and have dyslexia. Sometimes I just feel like giving up, I feel like things are overly complicated for me because of the way God made me. Sometimes giving up feels better than continually to fight a race that is determined to knock me down. But my faith in God keeps me going and determined.

Thank you to all the people that have donated to my project!

As I shared in the first blog of the series, I knew I was called to share the word and to do ministry; however I didn’t know what that was going to look like. My current appointment will end on June 30, which means I have 2 weeks to move out of my beautiful rental into my tiny home. I am downsizing our current life to fit into our new life. This doesn’t feel good to let go but I’m still excited about owning a tiny home. My new appointment will start July 1 and I will still be working on Poetry Girl, LLC. Please do me a favor a tell 5 of your network to help me grow my business and network.

As of right now, the drywall and installation are up. Next we will be doing the electrical and plumbing. Take a look at the blueprint of our tiny home. For those that would like to help with this project, please take a look at my Amazon list.

The tiny home is 12×40, blue with brown trimmings; with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room and small office. To complete my tiny home,  I am in need of your help! My goal is $5,000 that will cover the cost of materials installation and drywall. Also will allow me to purchase bathroom fixtures, toilet, sink and shower. Along with a sink, fridge and something to prepare meals. I am willing to take any above items in donations.

Please take a look at my Amazon list that’s below.
