Rev. Marcharkelti McKenzie is a licensed local Pastor working towards her ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church with the North Carolina Conference.  She graduated from Gammon Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019.  As of July 6, 2025, she will be the Pastor at St. George UMC in Maxton , NC. 

She is Pastor, Poet, Publisher, Photographer, Public School Teacher, and Power Coach

Join us this summer for Making Ways Summer Camp—a fun, safe, and empowering experience for children ages 4-12! Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, STEM exploration, team-building games, and storytelling, campers learn to express themselves, try new things, and build lasting friendships.
