Can you put a limit on a limitless God? Can man stop his work? Is God bound by time and space? An answer to these questions will show you the supremacy of God. First, God is eternal. He is timeless. The first thing to note is that God is a being whose life is timeless, and the life of a timeless thing is not able to be limited.
Throughout the ages, man has tried to put a limit to God through his acts, but He shows his supremacy over and over again. For example, Pharaoh tried to limit God by holding back the children of Israel in captivity. Israel was to be a witness to the nations for God, but they can’t be while in bondage. But God showed up, and with a mighty hand saved Israel. They weren’t just delivered by God, but also came out rich, bearing the gold of the Egyptians.
In man’s bid to limit God, He has always shown why he is God and turned the situation for good.
But can God finally be limited in this modern age? Can the internet bring a limitation to God? Organizing people to read the Bible is banned in China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Cuba, Libya, Lebanon, and many other countries. Is man trying to put a limitation on God? Obviously. But, He will always show his supremacy.
In so many countries, gathering for physical worship is banned, but the internet has been a means of giving these people a chance to continue with their faith. The fact that some people cannot meet in a physical location for worship doesn’t mean that we cannot experience God together.
People argue that the online church is a limitation to God, His Word, and His power. But the reverse is the case. A lot of people who are not in favorable environments have experienced God through the internet. A greater number of people are reached through the internet. The internet has given nothing but a platform for churches to reach more people with the knowledge of Christ. What appears to be a limitation happens to be a blessing.
A middle-aged Californian woman, Tyeisha, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 disease contacted her pastor. As the conversation went further, the pastor discovered that she was unable to move her legs, was restricted to bed, and depended on supplemental oxygen through Nasal Cannula.
He prayed for her healing through the video call. In minutes, one who was once bedridden and struggling for her dear life, removed her nasal cannula and began to breathe without the supplemental oxygen. She stretched her faith further and stood up, regaining use of her legs.
Nothing can put a limitation on God, not even the internet. Instead, it will be a means to reach people who cannot be reached physically.
